i have a 2001 suzuki katana, has a doppler exhaust and molossi air filter, but still only goes to 38mph, but its really fast on pullaway, could someone please help and tell me how i can make it faster without using a 70kit,,, also how can i tell if its de-restricted on these peds,, cheeers

well i have only just brought the katana, got it for christmas in fact, all the guy we brought it off said is its got the exhaust and air filter, he hasnt played with the rolllers or anything else, so from that i guess it hasnt been up jetted in anyway... i was just wonding how to see if its derestricted and how i could make it a touch faster maybe to 45mph without spending lots of money etc....

if i was you try new rollers cuz there props gone and not working properly and is it the injection katana if its not rejetting

thanks for your help, what size rollers would you recommend? and also what size jet would u say i need, its not the injection model...

Most, if not all mopeds are restricted in a few of the following ways sometimes all of them:
1.'washer' in the Variator
2.'washer' restriction in the exhaust
3.airbox restriction
4.rev limited CDI
all of them are easy to correct barring the exhaust one where your better off buying a aftermarket as the original will require cutting and welding
