we've also covered some of the major events that took place in the latter half of 2007 such as the Scooter Attack Scooter Weekend and Wheelie & Speeds Record Weekend at Elvington. See what else is in store here.
» 23-01-08 :: If you've not already seen it on YouTube, check out this vid made by PETROL journo Ian Sim of the Scooter Attack Custom Show at Saarbrucken, Germany last year.

» 02-08-07 :: The annual Wheelie & Speed Records Weekend is set to take place at Elvington, North Yorkshire once again on September 22-23.
As well as some of the fastest machines blasting up the drag strip, there will also be a stunt riding competition, open to all and sundry at a bargain price of just £15 which is how much it costs to get through the gate for the weekend for
punters anyway, so effectively it's free entry!
The event organisers are Trevor Duckworth and Dave 'Dodge' Rogers, Dodge has asked us to let you all know about the stunt comp, with the hope that maybe
there'll be some scooter stunters out there who are interested in having a go. And that's not all. On the Saturday afternoon, there's the ride-in
Streetfighters show. This year, PETROL will
be sponsoring a 'Best Scooter' category. So anyone with a tricked-up scooter is more than welcome to enter.
If you want to enter your scooter into the show, you don't need to pre-enter or anything - just turn up on Saturday and be there before about midday and have your bikes in the show
for a couple of hours minimum, judging will take place at some point between 1 and 2pm. We hope you can all make it, it should be a great action packed weekend.
Any questions or queries about the event then don't hesitate to get in touch. Phone 01924 271919 or email: info@petrolmag.net
» 06-06-07 :: Good morning, afternoon or evening. PETROL is one year old today. Thanks to everyone who has supported us to date.
» 22-05-07 :: PETROL ISSUE.06 is out now. The current issue
includes some glorious custom scoots to feast your eyes on in our coverage of the Scooter Attack Custom Show. We've got road tests of new models, news and product info and a whole lot more. As usual PETROL is available FREE from your friendly
neighbourhood scooter dealer. Copies of PETROL can also be obtained from Scooter Attack, Scooter Center, Adrenalin Ped Stop and VE(UK) (while stocks last)... Quick reminder that a
subscription service is also available.
» 04-05-07 :: PDF files of our coverage in ISSUE.06 of the Scooter Attack Custom Show 2007 can be downloaded at the
official Scooter Attack website.
» 12-04-07 :: Fancy getting your scooter professionally photographed in a studio? Well here's your chance; at the Motophoto Bike Shoot Open Day, Sunday May 20th at
Potters Bar.

Just £25 is all it costs which, compared to the costs of hiring a studio, a photographer and a glamour model, is peanuts. Having your scooter photographed with a
model is optional and comes at no extra cost, you could even have your scooter photographed with your wife, girlfriend or mistress! It's your choice. At the end of the photo shoot you can take a
CD home with you with all the images on. Photo's can be printed on the day and poster size prints can also be ordered.
As an added bonus, the Motophoto photographers will be on the look out for any scooters worthy of a feature in PETROL. So don't be shy, get yourself down to the
Motophoto Bike Shoot Open Day. Refreshments will be available and rumour has it that a few street riderz will be making an appearance too. It will be a busy day (if the last open day is anything to go by)
so booking is recommended but just turning up on the day is fine.
The location:
Studio Three,
Cranborne Industrial Estate,
Potters Bar,
Herts.
